It is important to keep your boat aerodynamic, this means keeping the boat relatively skinny (very simple explanation) so that there is the minimum resistance. It is also a good idea to make the boat have a good surface area to catch the wind from the fan. I recommend making the boat as long as possible.

we dont need to put it in water or drive it, just shoot a video on it

Check with the marinas and see which ones rent boats.

Personally, I wouldn’t loan you my boat if you’re going to have a party on it.

onboard camera ride blew up the old tranny so i had to put some brushless stuff in it real quick before winter hits, didnt get the speed i was hopeing for but the wind was crazy and the tide was high yee haw.

Its for honors aquatic science and I need to build a boat with any materials that will float in water more that 5 minutes…it has to be creative any suggestions?

How about plastic bottles lashed together? Not very creative, but very easy (if you can tie a knot, that is). One liter of water weighs 1 kg (2.2 lb), so submerging 100 L of air in plastic bottles will support a 100 kg (220 lb) person.
