Thanks for letting me know about pop pops in the latest Miyazaki movie.
It’s best to follow the directions exactly (aluminum drink can) the first time through, then experiment with variations like candy tins, etc.

The pop pop engine …
The pop pop engine is an exacting project with unfamiliar procedures, so it can take more than one attempt. Good for you for persisting until it worked! There is a world-wide forum about pop pop boat experiments, linked in the blue information box to the right. I made it 3 times, the first 2 didnt work but that might be my failure (sorry for my bad english) The 3th worked great! Its very funny. I am now thinking of a other creation with this steam-engine. So if you got nice idea’s of other creation’s with this cind off engines ill hear it. Thanks!

hey, yesterday on the 14th of august i made one of these motors with the istructions of your video. they work great. after i was done with the first one i made a second one and integrated them into a dual engine compartment. thanks for the help.

I’m not sure I understand your question, but you you can make your own by following the directions of the rest of the video. Or you can buy ones imported from India and China. Just Google pop pop engine.
