how do I unhook the hour meter on my boat?
Everything is hard wired but I plan on keeping the boat for the life of it so I don’t care if I have an hour meter. The reason I want to unhook it is because it clicks every 3 seconds and it drives me nuts.
Easy two-step process:
1. find the wire attached to the meter.
2. snip-snip.

Sure you can disable the hour meter, but it it is there for you to keep track of when service is due and the wear on your engine.
Good Luck – Boat Safe!
