They do a registered range which have a metal band round the top to stop splitting the handle. Even if you only get one of them, once introduced to quality he will do the rest.Next year a " tormek " whet stone. Look that up on the web, it has a follower to hollow grind chisels to. For most other work, the short models available at home improvement stores are good enough. The word "durable" is a hint that there will be some "just get it done" work. Lowes.
