Good Luck!
this is for physics cardboard boat project. we have the measurements of boat. weight of ppl thatll be in boat and the boat itself. now what?
well the total volume of my boat is .9181m^3
and im trying to see how much cm itll sink
The amount of water a boat will displace is equal to the volume of water that weights the same as the boat. For example if your boat and people in it weight 1000 Kg, this boat would displace 1000 Kg of water. As 1 mL of water weights 1g, this means 1000L of water will be displaced. Given this, depending on the arrangement of your boat, 1000L of water is roughly 1 cubic meter. Thus if your boat is an odd shape and 1 meter by 1 meter on the bottom and 8 meters tall, it will since in roughly a meter into the water (1mL = 1 cm ^3).
Can you use any boat motor in salt water?

I am getting conflicting advice on this and probably still will here, but I am going to try anyway. I am looking into getting my second boat and am pretty interested in a 2001 four winns with a volvo penta inboard outboard engine for around $4000. So is there anything I need to know about if I plan on using this boat pretty much exclusively in salt water? Being as specific as possible would be greatly appreciated!!!!! Thanks in advance!!!!!
Volvo has a very good reputation when used in salt water. Read the owners manual and do the regular maintenance and you will get years of service out of this engine/drive. Check the condition of the zinc anodes. and the lower unit paint condition. Sounds like a good price. Good luck!
I`m having problems whilst building a bait boat?
Author: admin
I`m building a bait boat and wondered if anyone who has made one or has any interest in bait boats if they can help me. I`m building one myself and I`m struggling with trying to work out how best to operate the hopper.
What kind of bait? Pellets? If so, use the hopper from a paintball gun or just a plastic bottle upside down and use your turn control on the remote to open it. Connect an arm from the mouth of the hopper to the rutter on the bottom so that when you hit the turn function, some bait will come out.
Your avatar makes you look gross.
Part 17 is Step 14, making a cardboard angle tool to set the angle between the aluminum boiler and the straws. You saved the pattern that printed out with the boiler pattern way back in part 7, step 4, didn’t you?!

We have a 16 ft. Monark that we are currently working on. We have since put a 15hp Evinrude (tiller motor) on the boat, which is running great so far. We will be installing the floor, all electrical components, trolling motor, and custom ice chest live well as soon as the weather gets better. Stay tuned for the completion of this aluminum boat project. Thanks.
